Ankigenix Documentation
Ankigenix is an AI flashcard generator. It turns text, PDFs, Word documents, images, web pages, and YouTube videos into Anki-compatible flashcards that you can export as an .apkg file and start studying in Anki within minutes.
Quick start
- Pick an input. On the home page you can paste text, drop a file (PDF / Word / Markdown), add an image for OCR, or paste a web link or YouTube video.
- Generate. The AI extracts the key points and produces question-and-answer or cloze cards, following the minimum-information principle — one idea per card, no compound or list-style questions.
- Review and save. Preview the generated cards, then sign up to save them as a deck.
- Export to Anki. Open the deck, export it as
.apkg, and import it into Anki via File → Import.
Tips for better cards
- Keep each chunk focused. Well-structured, on-topic source text produces better cards than long, scattered notes.
- Choose the right density. Use Compact for quick review, Balanced for most material, and Detailed for thorough coverage.
- Pick a card type. Q&A for explanations, Cloze for fill-in-the-blank, or Mixed to let the model decide per card.
- Match the language. Set the output language explicitly for non-English material, or use Bilingual to add a translation on each card.
Pricing
